About
Carla Wallace, esthetician, on the Laguna Niguel coast

Owner and esthetician · Carla Wallace

Carla Wallace, the esthetician.

For more than thirty years, Carla Wallace has quietly shaped how Orange County takes care of its skin. She opened CW Skin Beauty in 1991, after thirteen years refining her craft inside Southern California’s most regarded luxury spas, and has spent the decades since building a practice by word of mouth. One client, one face, one result at a time. Her approach is both holistic and clinically precise: every facial, peel, and wax is built around the person in the chair, not a prescribed protocol. The studio is calm, private, and by appointment only. Which is how her clients, many of whom have stayed with her for twenty years or more, have always preferred it.

Restorative. Calm. Holistically you.

What to expect

Your first visit

Carla begins every new facial with a short skin assessment. What you have been using, what has been bothering you, what you would like to change. From there, she will customize a treatment around your skin that day, walking you through each step as she goes. You will leave with aftercare guidance and, only if it genuinely makes sense for you, a product recommendation or two.

Arrival and the studio. The address and entry details are included in your booking confirmation. The studio is private, calm, and by appointment only. Arriving a few minutes early is perfect. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule.

Good to know

Questions

Do I need to know which treatment I want?

No. Carla starts every visit with a short skin assessment and shapes the treatment around your skin that day. If you would like a head start, take the Skin Evaluation.

How often should I come in?

Most clients visit every four to six weeks. Carla will suggest a rhythm that fits your skin and your goals.

I have sensitive or reactive skin. Is that ok?

Yes. Every facial, peel, and wax is tailored, and Carla adjusts the strength and approach to what your skin can take.

What if I need to reschedule?

Just give at least 24 hours notice. Your confirmation email has a link to manage your appointment anytime.

Is there anything I should do before my visit?

Come with a clean face if you can, and skip retinol or strong exfoliants for a couple of days beforehand. Otherwise, just arrive a few minutes early so we can talk through your skin.
